Day 28 Resources

It’s the second to last day of the challenge. I am so stocked that I made it this far. This journey for me has been life changing and just the sort of jolt I needed to get on the road to where I wanted to go in my life. I started this challenge to reduce the stuff in my life.

Alot of what I was reading and learning said that your environment was a direct reflection of you mental or emotional state. I was feeling pretty cluttered and unclear about life prior. My home also felt cluttered and confusing. But as I continued on this journey it brought me alot of clarity, not only in my living space but in my mind and heart.

I as a person have changed, and living intentionally is only the beginning. This is an entire lifestyle change. The thing about life style changes if that you have to be able to maintain it. Like keeping the oil in your lamp burning.

So, today is all about putting together you resources books, films, podcasts. Making a sort of library that you can look back to for motivation to keep living the life style you have chosen often times we forget why we started on the road to change its helpful to always have reminders. But also resources to continue teaching your self to in order to grow and learn new things.

Some resorese that I found Great value is are:

  • YouTube Channel Muchelleb (who I followed this challenge from)
  • YouTube Channel; Rowena Tsa
  • The Netflix Documentary; Minimalism
  • The Life Changing Magic of Not Giving A F*ck by Sarah Knight
  • You are a Badass; How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero
  • The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
  • A Podcast; The Ground Up by Matt D’Avella

And the list goes on…

These sort of live changes take time, and don’t stick over night. Most of the time it takes an awakening to really kick us into gear about life, some times, even the effects of the awakening don’t last and you find your self drifting into old habits. Even asking yourself why were you trying to change in the first place.

Change hasn’t been easy, even getting through resistance in alot of areas is not easy, but you have to keep at it be persistent and things will fall into place. Stay focused, stay the course.
